Architecture for Humanity

Architecture for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1999 to promote architectural and design solutions to global, social and humanitarian crises. Through competitions, workshops, educational forums, partnerships with aid organizations and other activities, Architecture for Humanity creates opportunities for architects and designers from around the world to help communities in need. We believe that where resources and expertise are scarce, innovative, sustainable and collaborative design can make a difference.

Architecture for Humanity Los Angeles

Architecture for Humanity Los Angeles is a multi-disciplinary crowd of young professionals dedicated to advancing the humanitarian cause specific to the Los Angeles County region with respect to the greater worldwide community. The non-profit group works in congress with Architecture for Humanity International to develop solutions for global, social and humanitarian crises.

Fusicology

Fusicology is a multifaceted media entity and national promotional vehicle for reaching trendsetting, multicultural urbanites, specializing in providing relevant information for early adopters and the musically forward. Fusicology currently has sustained presence in twelve (12) markets including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Washington D.C., Detroit, Atlanta, San Francisco Bay Area, New Orleans, Boston, Dallas and Houston. Columbus OH, Montreal, Charlotte NC, Puerto Rico, and Philadelphia are coming soon, along with further expansion overseas to follow with London, Amsterdam & Tokyo slated for 2008.

Groove Cruise

The Ultimate Music Adventure. The Groove Cruise is the only large cruise experience in the world geared towards young professional dance fanatics. Each year, The Groove Cruise sets sail with two weekend cruises, one from Miami in January and one from LA in July.

loom - Weaving the Social Fabric Through Dance:
"loom" "loom" is a social ideology conceptualized by Brent Crampton and Jay Kline in Omaha, Nebraska with the idea of creating various social and artistic platforms to promote social integration. loom has manifested as a monthly dance event at Espana Tapas Bar where Blacks, Whites, Latinos, Asians, young, old, gay and straight have gathered in a peaceful assembly to connect and dance with groups of people they'd normally never encounter in a city that is notorious for its problem of racism. In 2006, StubDog Events was created in Houston to promote local events with one goal in mind. Give people the opportunity to try something new and entice them to explore events locally for a fraction of the normal cost. As of 2008, StubDog offers event tickets in Houston, Dallas/Fort-Worth and Los Angeles with more cities to come later this year. StubDog Events gives back to the community in ways that will ultimately promote the arts and help young people to follow their dreams and discover their passions. They donate a % of profits in each city to various organizations that have the ability to inspire our next great artists.

Urban Sanctuary and BK Mecca

Urban Sanctuary's mission is to promote culturally rich projects in conjunction with fundraising events that raise our awareness to the needs and challenges facing individuals and communities within the urban landscape and beyond. DJ Sabine's OYASOUND Productions/BK Mecca events focus on the exposure and pleasures of African Diaspora music akin to Ancestral House, Afrobeat, Afrotech and Haitian Roots. Urban Sanctuary and Brooklyn Mecca partnered in 2007 to support the efforts of NextAid by incorporating creative fundraising elements to their grassroots-groundbreaking dance parties.
